Two eras. One world built on a bargain.
Start here
A Dungeons & Dragons campaign about a world still paying for one king’s perfect century.
One hundred twenty years ago, King Maltraxis promised Asmodeus the souls of his kingdom in exchange for a century of peace, prosperity, and absolute power. The payment came due twenty years ago. Old Sunspire became the Deadlands, and the Tower of Damnation still stands at the center of the wound.
The main Sunspire campaign, currently paused after Session 14, follows an unlikely party investigating corrupted red crystals, infernal breaches, and the powers hunting them across the surviving nations. The currently active Rise of Maltraxis flashback campaign follows the king’s new Kingsguard while the bargain still appears to be a miracle.
The chronicles
The present-day party follows the scars of the Infernal Bargain. In the past, the Kingsguard watches the bargain begin to reshape the world.

Archival map · legacy spellings preservedThe known world
From the halfling hills of Greenhollow to the deep roads of Xorath Kul, every nation still lives in the orbit of the Deadlands and the blackened Tower of Damnation.
Player-safe by design
This public archive contains campaign events, known lore, and optional canon. Private DM notes and unrevealed factions remain outside the record. Because learning every secret from a website would be a deeply embarrassing way to anger Asmodeus.
From the table
Sunspire began as a campaign between friends. The recordings preserve the full table—bad plans, accidental prophecies, and all.
