Rise of Maltraxis · Known record

Svetlana

Discipline is the answer. She is not interested in hearing the question twice.

Known asKingsguard trainer and enforcer
PresenceControlled, direct, and visibly unimpressed by improvisation unless it serves the crown. Her anger is usually quiet—which makes the rare ‘What the fuck?’ considerably more historic.

The known record

Who they are

Svetlana is a dark-skinned elf in practical armor, rigid in posture and nearly allergic to excuses. Maltraxis placed the new representatives under her command because strength alone did not make them Kingsguard. She taught them cooperation with a lethal obstacle course and obedience with starving prisoners. The first lesson produced creativity. The second produced Wilfred’s corpse.

Habits & methods

How they operate

  • Testing recruits under conditions where failure can kill them
  • Using consequences to turn hesitation into obedience
  • Directing military action without confusing cruelty for indecision
  • Walking away before idiots mistake her silence for permission

Known capabilities

What they can do

  • Experienced battlefield commander
  • Practical close-quarters combat and royal security
  • Strategic knowledge of how Maltraxis’s conquests become recognized dominion
  • Enough authority to command the Kingsguard and correct them publicly

What people remember

The moments attached to the name.

Drawn from the surviving campaign record, world history, and established Sunspire canon.

  1. 01

Ran the Gauntlet and criticized the recruits for solving teamwork through magical shortcuts and sabotage.

  2. 02

Ordered the prisoners executed, then made their torture the recruits’ responsibility when some refused.

  3. 03

Explained that Eastmarch was not truly Maltraxis’s until the surviving royal line submitted.

  4. 04

Entered the quarters to find magical blindness, ball bearings, a skunk stench, two banishments, and Hamdik transformed into a giraffe.

People in their orbit

Power is always relational.

King Maltraxis

The sovereign whose will she trains others to obey and whose bargain she understands better than most.

Wilfred Cragbloom

A capable recruit whose refusal became the example she warned the others not to follow.

The Kingsguard

Her students, weapons, and recurring argument against allowing powerful adults unsupervised free time.

Where the record stands

At Maltraxis’s side in Sunspire. Her latest known strategic challenge is restoring dignity to a unit that recently lost it beneath a giraffe.
